Wrestling

Quick Intro

In wrestling (classic greek/roman style) two wrestlers are scored for their performance in two periods of three-minutes in a match that takes place on thick rubber circular mat. In wrestling points are awarded mostly on the basis of explosive action and risk – this including arm drags, bear hugs, headlocks and throws – where each completed action is scored – but with the overall general target to force the opponents shoulders down to the mat, which can terminate the match early as a “fall”.
