Quick Intro

Swimming consists of repeating a specific body motion (swimming stroke) to propel the body forward in water. There are many kinds of swimming strokes each defining a different swimming style like crawl, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly. Swimming is an individual or team sport activity that can be carried out in either open water or in indoor/outdoor swimming pools – and swimming can be exercise either as a recreational workout or on a competitive level where swimmers race for the best time on different race distances.
