Billiard sports are a wide variety of games played with a cue stick which is used to strike billiard balls, moving them around a cloth-covered billiard table bounded by rubber cushions. Subdivisions of the sports of billiard covers “carom billiards”, “pool” and “snooker” – each with their own characteristics and rules of the game.
