Air Sports – Hang Gliding

Quick Intro

Hang Gliding is an air sport in which a pilot flies a light, non-motorized foot-lanched aircraft called a hang glider. Typically the hang clider is made of an aluminium frame covered with a synthetic sailcloth to form a wing and the pilot is in a harness suspended from the airframe where he controls the aircraft by shifting body weight in opposition to a control frame.
